Range of Irons

These individually engineered irons feature a 2-piece metal-wood construction in all the 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9-irons. All irons in this range have a low center of gravity and a high COR. Each iron is individually tuned and optimized so each iron would have a noticeably different look. The 6 is the only piece with a pitching wedge as the 3, 4 and 5 all have a thick top line.

Design Features

As mentioned earlier, the 3-5 irons utilize two-piece metal-wood constructions which contribute to a lower center of gravity and increases the iron’s moment of inertia (MOI). This combination increases the forgiveness of longer irons and provides a high but penetrating ball flight. The Inverted Cone face technology that is standard in all TaylorMade clubs also provides faster ball speeds and more distance even on shots hit slightly off-center.
